Hello!
I'm Ceena Lund, Massage Therapist.
Welcome to my Website! I am a professional educator for an accredited Massage Therapy program at a local University, community educator for my peers, and an active Massage Therapist with almost 30 years of hands on experience. As a Director of Massage Therapy, I facilitate student education programs, including hybrid concepts in the classroom. Supported by experiences in the healthcare environment as a Registered Nurse, higher education, and client interaction, I have created programs to empower the Massage Therapists of today!

My Journey
Finding My Passion
When I was young, I dreamt of becoming a marine biologist. My heart was set on working with themajestic Beluga whale; this passion took me all the way to Alaska. To further my education, I moved to Texas and enrolled at Texas A&M University, eager to complete my degree. While volunteering with the Dolphin Stranding Network, I realized that marine biology was more of a cherished hobby than a lifelong career.
Crossroads
I sought guidance from a mentor, who suggested I attend a mini-introduction class on massage therapy. I had never experienced a massage before and had my own reservations about touch, yet, this class shifted the trajectory of my life. I realized that I was seeking something more nurturing and warm—far removed from the cold, clinical nature of my original studies.Upon graduating from massage therapy school, I embarked on an exciting journey; gaining rich and varied experiences in different locations.
A New Chapter
After some time, and starting a family, I felt the desire to grow even further. This led me to pursue a nursing degree, allowing me to provide deeper care to people with complex medical needs. As my nursing career blossomed along the Gulf Coast, I realized this season of my life was drawing to a close. The combination of my education in both massage therapy and nursing had prepared me for a new chapter, one that brought me back to my roots in the Midwest—far away from hurricanes and coastal life.
Massage & Education
I hadn’t anticipated the impact on my income or the long hours away from home due to nursing shifts. Undeterred, I used this as an opportunity to launch my first Kansas-based business. The state’s lack of licensure requirements for massage therapy meant that my highly skilled touch, especially in pain management, was in high demand. I quickly recognized the need to pass on this knowledge to others, especially in the blue-collar communities of Western Kansas, where hard-working individuals relied on massage therapy for relief.
Mentorship & Moving Forward
My commitment to higher education in massage therapy was born. Over the past decade, I have provided professional massageeducation at a local university, in addition to offering countless 1:1 sessions, Zoom classes, seminars, and speaking engagements. With over 30,000 massages given throughout my career, my hands have gained unparalleled experience and wisdom in the art of healing.Looking ahead, I am excited for the next 30 years of this journey, continuing to uplift and educate others in the world of massage therapy and holistic care.
